Episode 264 brings back Brianna and Angel for their fourth (and last, for now) game. They play Strip Barracuda, which hasn't been used much yet. It's inspired by the old game show Card Sharks. The loser of this one dons the bright yellow slingshot swimsuit and has to go on our most extensive swimsuit walk to date. Her ordeal takes her outside, across a street crowded with vehicles and pedestrians to feed a parking meter, then back for a walk around the hotel, ending in the exercise room and swimming pool area. It's fun watching the barely-clad loser trying to keep everything in place as she rides the elliptical trainer.

Episode 265 features Whitney and Alexis vs. AJ and Tony in another boys-vs-girls team game. They play Croc 'n' Balls, until one gender is totally naked. Last time, the losers got paddled. This time, the penalty will be a little more hardcore, as the losers have to get on their knees and go down on the victors. A couple of pussies are going to get licked, or a couple of dicks are going to get sucked. Either way, the stakes are high.

So I was supposed to be catching up on emails and blog comments, and while I've made some (not enough) progress on the email I still haven't touched the blog comments. Bleah. I'll catch up eventually, I promise.

I did, however, manage to pull off a shoot. It was hasty and haphazard and thrown together at the last minute, but I think it went pretty well. Popular newbie Lumen came back, along with extremely popular veteran Julie. Also joining in were Lumen's friend Fern, and Julie's friend and/or boytoy Kyle.

At the moment, there's snow on the ground, which isn't terribly common for this area. So in the first game, the three losers had to go outside naked in the snow and make snow angels. The second game produced just one loser, who then got pelted with snowballs by the winners. It's good stuff. Other forfeits that day included barehanded b/g spankings, naked sushi (I've always wanted to try that), and a wet-and-messy scene that turned into an incredibly hot shower scene.

Three weeks, still no broadband. I've developed a tic in my right eye, and my hair is falling out in clumps. Fortunately, I have my magical invisible pet marmoset Rupert to help me keep it together and stay sane. Still haven't been able to answer emails or blog comments yet. They say I should be hooked up and ready to go on Monday. I'll believe it when I see it.

During my all-too-fleeting moments of Internet access, I discovered to my horror that last week's B-Side had a glitch in the audio. (Only the HD version was affected.) Casper is responsible for postproduction and quality control on the B-Sides, so he has been flogged. I have a corrected version but I can't upload it (sigh). If you bought the glitchy version of B034, please email me at red@lostbets.com. Include a copy of your receipt from Clips4Sale, and any two clips you would like to replace it.

This week's update features Julie vs. Kandie, with a consequential forfeit for the loser, and an even more consequential prize for the victor. Here's what's coming up in the near future:

Episode 259 features the return of Salem and Lumen, joined by Xena. Loser gets stockaded, drawn on, and paddled.

Episode 260 is one I recently teased: Ember plays against her big (though not nearly as big as when last we saw her) sister Rainy. Loser must submit to a sororal forced orgasm… or two, or three. If there are any theology majors out there, please let me know if I'll be going to Hell for this.

Episode 261 is one I teased several months ago. Some people have been waiting for it very patiently since. I've caught up on blog comments (I think). Sorry for the delay. Still unacceptably behind on email.

Awhile ago, commenter realnot asked for a pro-vs-amateur game. I said I didn't think it was likely before I realized I had just such a game on tap. This sort of thing (somebody requests something I've already done and am just waiting to publish) happens often enough to make me wonder if it's really a coincidence. Anyway, Episode 253 publishes today, featuring professional models vs. amateur girls. It's one of my personal favorites.

There's one thing I should say about it, though. While professionals aren't necessarily more beautiful than amateurs (I think up-and-coming Lumen is one of cutest girls I've seen, and she'd never stepped in front of a camera before) they do tend to be more image-conscious and that often translates into looking better on film. There was no blog post announcing last week's update, and the unanswered blog comments are starting to pile up again. Catching up:

Last week saw the publication of Episode 242, featuring Candle and Ashley joined by Cory in a competitive kissing game. It was the first appearance of the slingshot swimsuit here, but it won't be the last, or the best.

Next week, Episode 243 pits returnees (and now-couple) Alexis and Tony vs. newcomers Whitney and AJ. Since it was requested by an anonymous blog comemnter (please sign your posts) here are pix of the newbs:

Episode 244 brings back four girls who, to my complete lack of surprise, have everybody clamoring to see more of them: Bibi, Cody, Kodak, and Tori. Elefino is a great game especially with girls like these, and when the forfeit is one of our messiest wet 'n' messy forfeits to date, it's a game I hope will make a lot of people very happy.

Episode 245 is when I'll finally have a game featuring newbie nerd-grrl Xena facing off against her friend (and ultra-competitive LostBets.com veteran) Zayda. This was one of the hardest-fought games I've ever seen.

Episode 246 will be a long-promised POV game. You play 5-card draw poker against Ashley and Julie, playing as a team. If you win, the two ladies have to simultaneously take a double-headed dildo for your viewing pleasure, but if you lose, it's the ladies who will be gloating and watching as you have to jack off for them. Which will it be?

That's as far ahead as I've planned. Other things in the near future will include the rematch of Angel and Brianna, the debut of a dozen new girls, and a real competitive game between Ashley and Julie, with the forfeit involving the stockade, the massager, and just maybe, a forbidden orifice.

Some of you may be familiar with the game of "I've never", where you say something you've never done, and everyone who has done it has to drink. (Or strip. Hmm.) Well, if you're 20 years old, surrounded by 20-year-old peers, and you can say "I've never masturbated", you will probably get all your friends to drink (or strip). I find it unimaginable that anyone that age would never have masturbated, but apparently it's true of one of the players in today's Episode 240. Or at least it was true. A lot of people have requested to see more couples games. The first one of several will show up in Episode 243, as Alexis and Tony, now a couple, return with new players Whitney and AJ. I gave them episode 237, but they should have more.

So which episodes do you think would be ideally suited for introducing newbies to LostBets.com? I'd like to have a few each hardcore and softcare. First off: I've started to fall behind in blog comment and email replies. Sorry 'bout that. I'll catch up.

Second, this week's update, or actually updates. First up, episode 239 featuring new girls Brianna and Angel. They play Memory, with the loser getting hogtied and vibed to O. Angel, by the way, is the second girl we've had who's played while pregnant. The two girls in question recently signed up to help out with some of the organizational and management stuff that it's really tough for a lazy guy like me to get behind. Since they haven't actually started yet, it may be premature to call them out for kudos, one of them has already been a part of lostbets.com in a more conventional way: she's sultry Italian beauty Zayda. She's not only a hot-bodied girl with a dazzling smile and a competitive streak, she's whip-smart and I don't doubt that she'll be of enormous help in getting some of the things that have been stalled moving.

The other girl is her friend Xena.

Last time I asked, 60% of your guys identified yourself as geeks. If you're like me, you really like girl-geeks, and Xena is that, one of thee geekiest girls I've ever met. We're talking cons and FPSes here -- she'll kick anybody ass at L4D2. I typically don't much care for it when girls get themselves all tatted up, but I'll make an exception when the tats include a motto from BSG on her tummy, some Klingon on her arm, some Elvish on her belly, and a Star Trek communicator on her chest. Slender and small-breasted, her father was in the Royal Air Force and her mother was a Korean whore he married and brought home (*) The ethnic mix is exotic and striking.

Okay, guys, help me out with something. This might seem like a really stupid question, especially considering the business I'm in, but what exactly is "hardcore"?

People often use the word, and when they do, they seem to expect that the listener will understand exactly what they mean, with no ambiguity or possibility of confusion. I hear it a lot from fans: "when's the next hardcore video?" I hear it a lot from potential players when I ask about their limits: "no hardcore." Okay, so straight-up boy-girl sex is hardcore, i think everyone agrees on that. What about blowjobs? Handjobs? Girl-on-girl sex? Girl-on-girl sex with a strap-on? Guy-on-girl oral? Girl-on-girl oral? Anal plugs? Fingering? Anal fingering? Vibrator without penetration? Vibrator with penetration? Are any of these things hardcore, and if so, which?

Once upon a time, lostbets.com was a one-man effort, but those days are in the past, and I've been seriously remiss in not sharing the credit with those who have done very much to earn it. In particular, I want to highlight the contributions of Johnny, who started off as a player in the games but has grown to become an integral part of the operation. He's credited as "Chief Editor" but he's also a cameraman, a grip and a gaffer, a talent scout, and my all-around right hand man, and it's no exaggeration to say that lostbets.com simply couldn't exist in its current form without him. Anyone who's ever thanked me for these videos should thank him as well.

Fortunately, being in the business I'm in affords me the opportunity to reward my friends in interesting and unique ways. A quick look at what's on the way in the near future:

Tomorrow's episode 235 brings to a close the awesome series between Lily and RyAnne. Basketball is the game, getting a whole lot of sweet and sticky stuff dumped all over you is the forfeit. With the help of some fine folks at umd.net, I think this is my best wet-and-messy forfeit to date. People who've complained that previous WAM forfeits left the victim's hair untouched will not be disappointed.

Episode 236 introduces new girls Erica and Daisy Rae. The loser, whoever she may be, is gonna get boned. For those who've wanted more hardcore. I could still do more on that front, and will.

Episode 237 also introduces new girls: Tori, Cody, Bibi, and Kodak. Three blondes and a redhead, loaded with personality. They play a new game (which reminds me, Dex, if you're out there, drop me an email) with two losers being put through a revealing calisthenics routine. We used a high-speed camera with this one. Episode 238 introduces yet more new girls, in the form of Brianna and Angel. Brianna is hella cute and smart. Angel is five months pregnant. For them, I'll try to have something ready to make this a double-update weekend.

I hail from Seattle. And there are some damned fine chicks around here, many of whom have appeared on lostbets.com. And there are some even finer chicks in areas within reasonable driving distance, like Portland and Eugene But variety is the spice of life, and sometimes you just gotta go outside your area to get what you want. So I, Johnny, Hippo, and Lauri just got back from a trip to the east coast for a whirlwind of game-playing and filming.

I write this from the plane on the way back, and all I can say is, holy crap. What a ride. Many returning favorites, like Candle, Ashley, Cory, Britney S., Hollis, Rainy, Jessie, and others) and many beautiful and spunky new girls (like Marie, Chelsea, Tori and otjers). Many new games, like Snapper and O'Connell and Croc-and-Balls, many new forfeits. And lots and lots of fan requests fulfilled. In the cargo hold right now is a hard drive with 1.2 terabytes of precious, precious footage.

I don't want to go into too much detail of exactly what went down, because the sad truth is that most of it won't make it into production for many months and I don't want to tease you. But I'm excited about it, and I'm going to tell just one (and by no means the hottest) hot story.

This was a four-girl game, played to two losers. The two winners then each picked a loser, and got to work on her with a massager. The goal was for the winners to force their losers to orgasms, and for the losers to resist. (Fan request!) When the losers were determined, both said that we'd be there for a very long time, if not forever. One said that she was simply incapable of achieving orgasm without penetration. I'd really hoped to be able to announce the opening of a new store today, but it's not quite ready yet. To make up for it, I do have a preview of what's coming in the next few weeks:

Episode 232, today: Battlestrip with Lily and RyAnne. The winner gets to work the loser over with a vibrator.

Episode 233, July 29: Strip Fuck-It with Britney S. and Hollis. The debut of these two was received quite favorably. This time, the loser has to be a human sundae and get covered with all sorts of sticky sweetness.

Episode tooth-hurty is coming this weekend, along with 231 as part of a double-update wekeend. Both episodes feature a variant of sending a girl down to a public place in unusual (and revealling) clothing. (231 is actually coming first, today, with 230 tomorrow.)

Why publish them together? Well, that'll take a little explaining. Long-timers know that I've always striven for variety. That means that whatever your "type" of girl is, you'll probably find her here. The flip side is that if you've got a type you find un-attractive, you'll find her here too. I've never been shy about publishing clips I think most people won't like but some people will liek very much, but when I publish a clip like that I'm going to try to publish a clip with more mainstream appeal alongside it, so there's a better chance you'll like at least one.

Why do I think a lot of people may not like 231? Because of the multiple complaints I got about Sammy in her latest videos, specifically her emaciated appearance. Well, Sammy looks like a sumo wrestler compared to Betty Jo in her latest clips. She's thin to a degree that I personally find unsettling. Bu I'm certain there are folks who like their women rail-thin, for whom there's no such thing as "too skinny". This one's for you guys. Let me know what you think.

I love it when I can fulfill somebody's request, but sometimes it can take awhile. Videos can sit around for months after being filmed, and often a suggestion won't even be filmed until months after it's made.

So, I like it best when somebody requests something that has already been filmed and is just awaiting publication. You might think that such coincidences don't happen often, but in fact it comes up with surprising frequency. It's almost enough to make one doubt whether it's really a coincidence at all. Plainly, God wants people to get their most desired porn.

Anyway, the relevance is that not one month ago, commenters BB and RJS both posted how great it would be to see Julie take a spanking. Well, I just so happened to have a video that might fit the bill already filmed and awaiting editing. I can't promise that Julie actually took the spanking, since it was a fair game and saying who won would be a spoiler, but today's update features Julie, Mika, Sammy, and Leilani playing a fun game of Ring Toss with two losers getting barehanded over-the-knee spankings. With a twist... but that would also be a spoiler.

One other thing to say about today's update. Folks, as previously noted, I've fallen terribly behind on responses to blog comments. Ordinarily, I try to respond to every comment, since I figure that if somebody cared enough to write it the least I could do is care enough to read it and reply, but looking at the backlog that's accumulated, it seems like such a daunting task that it's difficult even to get started... which means the backlog continues to grow... which makes it even more daunting, etc. I've reluctantly concluded that unless I declare Comment Bankruptcy, I'll keep falling farther behind. So if you've commented since (yikes) May 31, I apologize but I can't give you an individual reply. If it's something you really want an answer to, please repost it.

A few general comments:

I had no idea there'd be such an interest in photogalleries. I guess it's because I personally prefer my pr0n in video form that it just didn't occur to me that there'd be a demand for stills. I can certainly publish photogalleries, especially if autogenerated sequences of framegrabs look good. I'll look into it this week.

I saw several good ideas in the blog comments for new games and new forfeits. You can bet I'll be combing through them when planning my next shoot.

I'm glad that the latest videos all seem to have been well-received, and I hope things keep getting better. We've been paying attention to what people have suggested, especially re. camera angles and close-ups.

I hope the upcoming 228 lives up to everybody's expectations. By the way, this game had been filmed long before the recent requests to see Julie in a game with a spanking forfeit, and was already lined up for publication. It's a karmic coincidence that I'm able to oblige the requests so soon after they're made. And I don't want to give any spoilers, but... I'm hopeful that not too many people will be disappointed with the way it turned out.

Hey, how about a contest?

Over the years, the intro sequence for lostbets.com videos has changed quite a bit from that egocentric 45-second-long first one. I like the current one (made by Crosis, as was its predecessor, mad props yo) a lot, but it's getting a little dusty, so I've hired a dude to make a new intro.

To make a long story short (too late), the new intro sequence will involve a fly-by of four video scenes. Each will be on the screen for only a second or two, so they can only highlight a single moment. I need to find the four best moments in lostbets.com history, the ones that best exemplify what this site is all about. (Well, maybe not the very best... the intro needs to be nudity-free.)

Pizza 'n' pregnancy

The third consecutive (and, phew, final for now) double-update weekend concludes the Pizza Trilogy. In truth, it's not really a "trilogy" in the sense of telling a single coherent story, it's just three pizza videos shot on three different days in the same location. Figured it'd be nice to get 'em all published reasonably close to each other. Episode 216 is a new twist on the pizza guy forfeit (which, honestly, was getting a wee bit overdone) and it's all 100% genuine.

First, though, the return of Ashley and Rainy. Historically, I've picked which clip to publish each week a few days before the deadline, and written the clip description the day of. What can I say? I'm lazy and a big fan of putting things off if I can. But in a break with tradition, I've actually started to get a bit ahead, so I can tell you what to expect over the next few weeks.

I neglected to make a blog post last week to say that episode 199 was out. It's not a bad episode by any means, but it's a little bit... ordinary, I guess. I've been focused on episode 200, which definitely is not ordinary, and didn't give 199 the push it deserved. It does feature a forfeit we haven't seen in awhile, and a new girl who I think is very promising.

Episode 200 clocks in at 90 minutes, broken down as 65 minutes of game, about 15 minutes for the first part of the forfeit, and 10 minutes for the second. I tried to trim it up, but really, there's a lot of gold here and I was reluctant to cut any of it. I think it's a worthy 200th episode.

I've said a lot on this blog that I really hate to (and hence really rarely) rig the outcomes of the games. Maybe we've experienced some disappointments because of that. But sometimes, when you trust the fates and let the game be played fairly, you get great results.

I've said this before (and I'm still not sure if it's believed), but profitability has never been my main concern with lostbets.com. What's more of a concern is Clips4Sale's interface: basically, right now I already have two line items for each clip for the two versions, and adding additional versions would make each clip take up that much more room. I've seen C4S stores where they've got like 7 versions of each clip, and I find them really annoying and hard to browse.

- Regarding the forfeits: I´d like to see more focus on the humiliation - the players should be really affraid about losing.

Me too, and believe me, I try. The hard part is that if the girl really, really doesn't want to do the forfeit, she won't even agree to play. I don't like asking the girls to pretend to be more reluctant than they are, either, because they're not very good actresses and I'm not a very good director, and so when they fake it, it looks fake.
The solution is to find something the girls really really don't want to do, but offer them enough of a reward that they're willing to take the risk. I've done that on a number of occasions, and it seems to work well.

You could have a game with three girls, refereed by two guys. The two girls who lose will have to have sex with the guys. But you can have one guy be extremely attractive, one that you know all of the girls would want to have sex with, while the other is one you know they absolutely would never want to sleep with (whether it's because of age, weight, hygiene, or whatever).

Viredae, I believe I know the reason for the lack of spicier videos on the membership site. I seem to recall Red saying he prefers to license older videos to that site, and much of the older videos have tamer forfeits. If my theory is wrong, Red will surely point out my error.

Now, about the membership site. The tl;dr version: I'm going to make sure everything's right. That's a promise. If you want to know how and don't care about any of the backstory, skip to the end.

A brief primer on lostbetsgames.com: it's not my site and I don't run it or control it. Originally, there was only the Clips4Sale clip store, which I did and do run. I was contacted by the guys who went on to start lostbetsgames.com, with a proposal to sell some of my older clips on a monthly membership basis. After much hesitation and pondering, I agreed, and lostbetsgames.com was born.

One of the reasons I was hesitant to allow it was that they'd be using my marks and my brand, and thus my reputation would to some extent be in their hands. I've always tried to provide excellent customer service and I feel like I've built up a reservoir of good will, and now I feel like it's being depleted because they've dropped the ball. I'm pretty pissed off about that, actually. (Part of the problem is that the original operator of lostbetsgames.com sold out to a new guy, who's proving difficult to get in touch with.)

So, what am I going to do about it? Well, I'm going to try to get them to get their shit together, starting off by publishing the updates they've missed, plus a bonus update for each one they missed. If that doesn't work, I'll yank their links and tell them to shut down. Then I'll publish the updates that the subscribers missed (and the bonus updates) myself, for free.

I'm very sorry to everyone who feels ripped off by lostbetsgames.com. Part of the problem is that this occurred during a time when I've been heavily occupied with other things (which is also why responses to emails and blog comments are delayed) so I wasn't able to give it my full attention until now. Sorry about this, and I'll do my best to make it up to you.

Um, hi guys. Remember me? I run this site, at least some of the time. A few things:

1. There was an update last weekend, as per the usual schedule. There was no blog post announcing it.

2. There are also about a zillion blog comments that have, to date, gone unanswered by me.

3. Also more than a few emails.

This is because I've been more swamped than usual lately, with tons of crap on my plate, including:

A. A high school reunion last weekend. Oh, incidentally: shout-out to any of my high school classmates I told about this site while in a drunken stupor. Who woulda thunk I'd grow up to be a pornographer, eh?

B. Planning and preparing for an absolutely monstrous weekend of shooting, shooting, shooting, featuring the return of several old favorites (including some we haven't seen in quite awhile) as well as the debuts of lots of new girls. I've got high hopes, but sheesh, it's been a shitload of work.

So I want to apologize (again) to everyone who's been waiting for me to reply to one thing or another. And to say that I'm afraid it'll be a little while yet before I get some breathing room. Hope you find the new material to be worth the wait.

As I type this, Episode 164 ("Strip Bender with Camilla, Taylor, and Nicole") is nearly four hours late. It's gonna be a little while, because it's still encoding. The encoding is taking abnormally long because the video is abnormally long too: over 40 minutes. I hope Clips4Sale lets me sell it at a reasonable price. And a Premiere fuckup meant I had to throw out the result of the first 9-hour render and start over. Which is why it's late. I hope it'll be published before midnight so I can at least say I didn't slip a day.

Why this sudden rush job at the last minute to have a clip ready to publish on Friday? Because this was a last-minute addition to the calendar. Thanks to the advocacy of blog commenters PN and gb, this episode was rushed into production.
