As I type this, Episode 164 ("Strip Bender with Camilla, Taylor, and Nicole") is nearly four hours late. It's gonna be a little while, because it's still encoding. The encoding is taking abnormally long because the video is abnormally long too: over 40 minutes. I hope Clips4Sale lets me sell it at a reasonable price. And a Premiere fuckup meant I had to throw out the result of the first 9-hour render and start over. Which is why it's late. I hope it'll be published before midnight so I can at least say I didn't slip a day.
Why this sudden rush job at the last minute to have a clip ready to publish on Friday? Because this was a last-minute addition to the calendar. Thanks to the advocacy of blog commenters PN and gb, this episode was rushed into production. If you think these three girls are cute, get ready: for the first time ever on lostbets.com, the losers of a game will go All The Way. Hope you think it's worth the wait.

First, thanks for actually listening to my comments and going out of your way to make this happen as requested.
Second, i don't know if it's a problem with the video or my specific download but i can't track around in the video. I always check to make sure that the last minute or so is there because of a bad download in the past, but in this case two different video players stopped working after i moved the slider. In both cases, the video seemed to pause but with no way to make it start playing again.
Finally, the video was great. The only feedback i could give on it is that if you do this game again, set a prompt time limit on moving hands/feet because one player sure took their time on this one. The others would be bent into pretzels and she's stand there analyzing her next move and taking her time while they tire out.

PN: Glad you liked it. Sorry about the problem seeking within the video... I noticed the same problem in Windows Media Player myself, and it baffled me. There's nothing different about the way this video was encoded than any other. Perhaps it has something to do with the large size of the file, but I've used seek in WMP on much longer videos, so that doesn't seem likely. I can seek okay (although still slowly) in VLC Media Player. I'll try to figure out what the issue is before next week.

As for the lack of uneagerness, you're right... in fact, one of the losers seemed positively giddy when she saw what Dante was packing. It's a tricky problem... it's hard to find girls who'd be willing to have sex if they lose, but are still reluctant to do so. While I enjoyed the video, I think the lack of embarassment took a little away from it (very little, but still a little)... I think if you were to play a game with 8 to 10 girls, and play to only one or two losers, you might be able to convince a shyer girl to play to this kind of forfeit, knowing the odds of actually losing are slimmer. That way, a Julie (obviously one of my faves) or similarly shy girl would be embarassed by losing, and make for a better payoff.
Just a thought, and of course, a hope of some true embarassment...

@Matt (and a few others who emailed me): It's a tough problem, finding girls who'd be willing to take part in a game when sex is part of the equation but be shy and embarrassed about it. Bettering the odds by increasing the number of players doesn't really help. I mean, think about it: would you play in a stripping game where the loser got fucked in the ass by a guy? What if you were one of 8-10 players, and only 1-2 would lose, would that convince you to play? Not me... and not most girls, either.
But I'm working on the problem. I've come up with some good ideas (and received quite a few via email and this blog) for having games with really hardcore forfeits and yet embarrass the loser.
By the way: next week's update just might be hotter.

Not only does she hate to lose, but she's got such a high opinion of herself that she can't imagine losing, at least when skill's involved. This makes her an excellent loser :) And yeah, the live studio audience probably didn't hurt. It's a bit of a logistical challenge to round up a studio audience, but I've done it once, I ought to do it again.

It came and went... turns out there was an audio glitch in the standard version which caused it to be silent for the last three minutes or so. I'm re-encoding it now but will probably be asleep before it's done. I'll get a fixed standard version up tomorrow.

(The video footage is on a no-longer-usable hard drive, so I need to dig up the tape and re-capture it. Fortunately it's old enough that I was only using one camera rather than the four I use now, so editing will be a piece of cake.) As for Derek... I just got those through editing and they're in the final stages of post-production. Look for 'em before the end of July.

I've noticed the last several videos have had some problems with whatever you're using for deinterlacing producing wavy lines. You might try some different deinterlacing settings or another tool for deinterlacing. Handbrake does a really good job for that sort of thing (and for encoding in general as well)
